I was going to say something clever about this picture and health care reform, town hall meetings and the gun toting 1st & 2nd amendment patriots who feel it’s okay to totally disrespect our president, but that would be too easy. Just make up your own caption.

Wanda Sykes to host Late Night Political Talk Show
Hooray! Wanda is funny, irreverent and smart. She pushes the envelope sometimes and falls over a cliff like at the Correspondence Dinner this year with President Obama in attendance, but she always gets back up. I can’t wait to watch, the only problem is her show will take over the Saturday night slot vacated by MADTV on the FOX channel. I am personally boycotting Ruport Murdoch, Roger Ailes and News Corp so unfortunately, I probably won’t see the show.
Wanda wades into late-night TV
The fuss is all about Jay, Conan and Dave, but Wanda is wandering to late-night TV: The Wanda Sykes Show will air Saturday nights this fall in Mad TV’s old slot at 11 p.m. ET/PT.
“I’m the wrap-up of what happened through the week but from my point of view,” she says. The show will feature conversation among panels of guests, along the lines of Bill Maher’s HBO show, along with sketches and topical humor, and will tape within a few days of its airing. And what’s that point of view? She won’t commit, other than to say that though she’s a registered Democrat she’ll be “fair” to all sides.
Sykes will also keep her acting gigs on upcoming seasons of CBS’ The New Adventures of Old Christine and HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, and will film a stand-up comedy special for HBO later this month in Washington. Add to that her experience as a new mom: “I know what it’s like to never not be tired.” –Gary Levin

First, let me say this, I do not condone violence in any way, shape or form; I think it is deplorable. It is beyond the pale and no one has the right to put their hands on another human being unless it is in self defense. That being said…Here is Another Member of the Dumbass Brigade
Perez Hilton’s “Fag%ot” tirade got him popped in the mouth. You can’t mouth off to people and expect them not to react or to see you as anything other than a gossip columnist with a chip on your shoulder. Everyone isn’t non-violent dumbass. Perez, now you must deal with the consequences and repercussion of your behavior just like everyone else. You are not beyond being popped in the mouth for the venom you spew. Not everyone thinks what you do is cute or is going to put up with your blatant disrespect; this is not the 1920’s and you are not Hedda Hopper or Louella Parsons.
You have no real power dear so get over yourself and trust me once your bloated ego is healed, you will get over this.
